New Favourite Tea

4th May 2015 By Quinnan Leave a Comment

This is my new favourite tea. Java Dewata Grey Dragon OP. It is a large leaf black tea from Indonesia. The leaves have a big silver stripe and are very visual. This comes from each leaf actually being a leaf wrapped around a bud (it is the bud which makes the silver stripe) The tea smells great and infuses into smooth, naturally sweet liquor which tastes of tea. Which is obvious as it is tea, but it tastes like the essence of tea a pure tea taste, like drinking tea when you are recovering from a bug or the first cup of tea when you have not had one for a while. It is lovely. It also has the bonus of being good for multiple infusions, which is unusual for a black tea especially one which isn’t Chinese. I have not tried Gong Fu brewing with it yet, though I plan to hopefully before it gets superseded y my new favourite tea.
